Amman

Amman is the modern and ancient capital of Jordan and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the World. The seven hills of Amman are an enchanting mixture of ancient and modern. Gleaming white houses, kabab stalls and cafés are interspersed with bustling markets (known in Arabic as souqs) and the remains of civilizations and ages long past. Sunset is perhaps the best time to enjoy Amman, as the white buildings of the city seem to glow in the fading warmth of the day. Amman is a safe and friendly city to walk around even very late at night, and a stroll is the best way to discover its hidden treasures. Lovely turn-of-the-century villas in Rainbow Street, glamorous modern residences in Abdoun, and gaily decorated shop-fronts where colorful tiles and curving Arabic script compete with elaborate window-dressing for your attention. Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the whole world. At 423 meters (1388 foot) below sea level, it is the lowest body of water on earth, the lowest point on earth, and the world's richest source of natural salts, hiding wonderful treasures that accumulated throughout thousands of years. A unique combination of several factors makes Dead Sea a total attraction: the spiritual atmosphere, the filtered sunrays and oxygen-rich air, the chemical composition of its water, the mineral-rich black mud along the shoreline, and the adjacent fresh water and thermal mineral springs.
